A Conversation between artist Dominique Labauvie and Curator of Contemporary Art Katherine Pill.

Dominique Labauvie has shown his work worldwide and is represented in the collections of the Musée des arts décoratifs, Palais du Louvre, in Paris; the MFA; and the Boca Raton Museum of Art, among others. He is best known for his fascinating exploration of line in his steel sculpture. Dominique Labauvie: Dig features recent works.

The MFA’s first Curator of Contemporary Art, Katherine Pill has organized a number of cutting-edge exhibitions, including Shana Moulton: Journeys Out of the Body, the young artist’s first solo museum show in the United States. She completed a three-year dual MA in art history, theory, and criticism and arts administration and policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
