Andrew lives in St. Petersburg with his wife Amanda and their dog and two cats. He started homebrewing in 2008 while in college at Binghamton University in his home state of New York. He quickly caught the brewing bug and enjoys making hoppy beers, like Pale Ale and IPA, as well as Belgian farmhouse inspired beers like his winning recipe, a Rye Saison fermented with a blend of Belgian and Brettanomyces yeast. Andrew is a member of the St. Petersburg Homebrew Club. Andrew works full-time as a human resource professional for a large firm and is also working towards earning an MBA from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. He has participated in the MFA Beer Project event for the last three years and frequents the museum, especially for weekend brunch. In fact, he and Amanda got married in the museum’s membership garden in January 2016.
