Cocktails & Collections

The Museum of Fine Arts is proud to present a new monthly event: Cocktails & Collections.

The third Thursday of each month, this new evolution of the Porch Party combines the social interactions of the former event, while bringing guests directly into the Museum garden and galleries. Events include live music with a bar and hors d’ouevres served in the gardens.

Cocktails & Collections is a series of themed events with connections to art. Each event focuses on one of the MFA galleries or special exhibitions, highlighting a different work in the collection. Each month features a customized docent tour, light bites, and art-inspired signature cocktail, all inspired by the different works and artists.

In coordination with the MFA exhibition Can I Get A Witness: Photographs by Herb Snitzer, please join us for the premiere of Ethan Early’s documentary film featuring the famed photographer. This 18-minute film includes personal interviews with the artist, providing background and insight to Snitzer’s lifetime as a visual historian.

The program features a tour of the exhibition with Robin O’Dell, Curator of the MFA Photographic Collection.

This month’s signature cocktail is a Sloe Gin Fizz
