Flash/Splash Workshop at the MFA.

Presented in conjunction with the Morean Arts Center.

Bring your camera to the MFA for a hands-on workshop inspired by the exhibition Harold Edgerton: What the Eye Can’t See. At one station, you can capture a “Milk Drop” splash and at another you can practice high-speed photography of colorful items being dropped into a large container of water. At a third, you can take stroboscopic images of movement by ROGUEdance, sponsored by St. Petersburg Dance Alliance. Beth Reynolds, Director of Photography at the Morean, and award winning dance photographer Tom Kramer are the instructors.

July 30th, 1–4 pm. $65 for Members of Friends of Photography or the Morean Arts Center, $95 for all others. Limited tickets are available by calling the Morean at 727.822.7872.
