The Book Club at the MFA: Cigar City: Tales of a 1980’s Art Ghetto

Join Keep St. Pete Lit, a local organization that supports the literary community, for a book club connecting the visual and literary arts.  Each month’s featured book will relate to the MFA’s collection or special exhibitions.

April 11th: Cigar City: Tales of a 1980’s Art Ghetto by Paul Wilborn in connection with the MFA’s Theo Wujcik exhibition.

This special edition of our book club will take place in the Hough Gallery, where Paul Wilborn will read excerpts from his new book. A rollicking, fictionalized account of Ybor City’s artistic past, Cigar City is a delight for both fans of history and a good tale.

Free with admission, $10 on Thursdays after 5pm
