This exciting summer showing of works from the post-1950 collection features two promised gifts to the Museum’s growing collection of 20th century art. A compelling large-scale watercolor by Andrew Wyeth and an intimate etched portrait of Dada poet Iliazd by Alberto Giacometti, and recent gifts of a large expressive ink drawing by Leonard Baskin and Robert Indiana’s iconic Pop Art print Love. This fascinating array includes paintings and prints from the 1950s through the present by American artists Willem de Kooning, Robert Motherwell, Milton Resnick, and a diptych drawing by Dale Chihuly.
