Fifty years ago, Margaret Acheson Stuart realized her dream of a fine arts museum in St. Petersburg.

It began with one woman, but she had the help and support of many others to make the dream come true. Today, the Museum of Fine Arts exists for the entire community.

As a not-for-profit arts institution, the Museum relies on a variety of funding sources, including contributions, to bring world-class exhibitions and public programs to the community. What Mrs. Stuart began, others have continued across the decades, sharing her love and appreciation for the arts.  This support comes in many forms: becoming a member, making an unrestricted contribution through the Annual Fund, and by helping to support our many programs.

Your generosity enables the Museum to share its collection and activities each year with over 100,000 local residents and visitors from around the world. We are grateful to our members and donors for their support and hope you will help sustain Mrs. Stuart’s legacy.
