Summer Camp at the MFA

Join us for a fun and educational summer camp experience at the MFA, exploring a wide range of activities designed to illuminate 5,000 years of human history! Tree-climbing, art history, culinary explorations, music, scavenger hunts, art-making experiences, and more. The MFA Campus provides a range of exciting opportunities, indoors and out.

Sensory Saturdays

The MFA welcomes families with children who have sensory processing disorders and other sensory-related disabilities to explore the galleries with us each month! During this time, all rotating audio components will be turned down or muted to ensure a calm environment.

Second Saturdays, 10 am to 12 pm. Free for members, through Museums for All, or with the cost of admission.

PAINTING IN THE PARK

Bring your little artists downtown for a day of hands-on fun at the Museum of Fine Arts! This event will include 10 art and activity stations for kids to create their own masterpieces inspired by the MFA Collection, including chalk art along Bayshore Drive inspired by Mary Proctor’s “Dancing on the Street Pave in Gold”; an archaeology dig inspired by the MFA’s antiquities galleries; a pop-up poppy field inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Poppy”; and so much more!
