Artistic Discovery
The 32nd Annual 13th Congressional District Art Competition
Through April 21
Some of the most accomplished artwork by high school students in the Pinellas County Schools is on view during An Artistic Discovery. The MFA has always been the venue for this exhibition.
The best-of-show artwork will be framed by the MFA and will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol with the work of other winners from around the country. Three awards of merit and five honorable mentions will also be presented.
This project is sponsored by Congressman C.W. Bill Young, the Pinellas County Schools Art Department, and the Museum. Curator of Public Programs Anna Glenn is coordinating the project with Sue Castleman, Visual Art Supervisor, Pinellas County Schools.
