Book Club at the MFA

Join Keep St. Pete Lit, a local organization that supports the literary community, for a book club connecting the visual and literary arts. Each month’s featured book will relate to the MFA’s collection or special exhibitions.
July 13: Dominic Smith’s The Last Painting of Sara De Vos is selected this month as a connection to our Dutch paintings.
August 10: Sunshine State, a collection of essays by Sarah Gerard, compliments the themes in Skyway. The author will join us in a discussion of her book via video conference.
September 14: The Improbability of Love, by Hanna Rothschild, the first female chair of the board of the National Gallery London, explores the London art scene and a tumultuous side of the art world.
Second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.
Free with Museum admission, which is only $5 after 5 pm on Thursday.
