The Contemporaries Field Trip: Home of Mark Anderson and Keith Bucklew

The Contemporaries was formed by the Museum of Fine Arts to build engagement among contemporary art enthusiasts with our diverse programming. The educational meets the social at The Contemporaries’ events, which include visits to artists’ studios and collectors’ homes; trips to contemporary institutions; and fundraising events.

The Contemporaries are thrilled to visit the private home of arts supporters Mark Anderson and Keith Bucklew. The couple has collected art for decades, and the best description of their collection is eclectic. Spanning media, it includes prints, photos, sculpture, and painting, with highlights by artists as diverse as Arne Svenson, Theo Wujcik, Sebastian Salgado, O. Winston Link, Hunt Slonem, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Jeffry Kronsnoble. The collection features many Florida artists, but Anderson and Bucklew have also collected art during their travels, seeking works that depict lifestyles and cultures from other parts of the world.

Refreshments will be served; address provided with ticket purchase.
