Middle School students from Pinellas County Schools, Elevate A.R.T.S. grant will perform a variety of music and showcase their artwork in the Marly Room. The Elevate A.R.T.S. grant is a federally funded grant awarded to the Pinellas Visual and Performing Arts department. The grant was conceived to provide professional development to art and music educators in 10 of the highest poverty level schools in our county. The goal is to provide teachers with higher level professional development that fosters a deeper sense of community amongst peers and students through innovative approaches to teaching ARTS: Art, Relationships, Technology, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). The Museum is honored to be a community partner with this program.
