Evenings in Egypt – Art-o-mat

The Museum, Museum Store and MFA Café are staying open later on select Thursdays. Come explore Ancient Egypt–Art and Magic:Treasures from the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art, have a delicious dinner at the MFA Café and spend some time perusing the unique array of items in the Museum Store. In addition we will be bringing in some special activities and programs sure to make your visit even more memorable. Some programs have additional cost as noted below.

This week: Collector’s Circle Lecture/Art-o-Mat Inauguration*
and mARTini bar featuring a sour apple martini. FREE martini with admission, 21+.

a celebration of orchids – make your own lei.
8 – Artful Arcade Arts Market
local artists show their wares – make your own “gold” cartouche.
15 – Collector’s Circle Lecture
and mARTini bar.
22 – Pre-parade Pit-stop Lounge
have a beverage and small bite before the Grand Prix Night Parade.
29 – Nip, Tuck, & Shoot
a roundtable discussion on body image in fine art and medicine.

April
5 – Collector’s Circle Lecture

12 – Film at 8
hands-on with film sculptor Nancy Cervanka.
19 – Underwater Knitting
learn how to create creatures from a coral reef.
26 – Ancient Brews for You
Bay area home brewers try their hand at ancient beer recipes, come sample and vote for your favorite.
