One of our country’s most accomplished guitar makers and restorers, Jeffrey Elliott will discuss “Forensic Lutherie: Behind the Scenes of Historical Guitar Restoration.” Lutherie refers to the crafting of stringed instruments, including the guitar. His lecture will focus on the restoration of two famous classical guitars, an 1869 Francisco González and an 1888 Antonio de Torres.
