Gallery Talk: Picturing a New Society

Curatorial Assistant Sabrina Hughes on Picturing a New Society: Photographs from the Soviet Union 1920s – 1980s.

Ms. Hughes has extensive teaching experience, as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida, Tampa and the Art Institute of Tampa.  She specialized in photography in her USF graduate program and received the Outstanding Thesis Award for her study in Eugene Atget.  She has also been Director of Operations for the Centre Gallery at USF and a summer curatorial intern in the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
