Gallery Talk with glass artist Lisabeth Sterling
Internationally respected artist Lisabeth Sterling will explore her work and that of other artists represented in Global + Local. Ms. Sterling has written: “My images embrace the vessel. Relationships develop between the abstracted personalities I develop. Much as in real life, interpretations change with perspective.”
Ms. Sterling has shown her work around the world and was selected for The Art of Glass from Gallé to Chihuly at The Newark Museum. She has studied at the Pilchuck Glass School and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
A reception, sponsored by the DMG School Project, will follow at the Duncan McClellan Gallery at 2342 Emerson Avenue South in St. Petersburg from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Ms. Sterling’s work is also on view at that gallery.
