The Store will hold an old-fashioned ice cream social on Tuesday, January 24, from 5-7 p.m. Food writer Laura B. Weiss will sign copies of her book, Ice Cream: A Global History. Ms. Weiss explores this favorite of royalty and presidents (George Washington loved ice cream), to gourmet versions, to the mass-produced. FoodNetworkMagazine.com calls her book “a MUST read.”
