MFA Artisan Market

You are invited to an evening of shopping with 20 of the Bay Area’s trendiest Artists, Jewelers, and Crafters at the MFA Artisan Market ~ Local artists and designers will show and sell their wares in the glass conservatory. A wide range of functional and collectible art and design items from artisans who personally display and sell only their own original creations. Added to the benefit of purchasing a well crafted original, one will also have the opportunity to talk to the artist about how their piece was made.

An exciting evening of socializing and networking with local artists that will also include Mitzi Gordon and her Bluebird Books Bus.

Bluebird Books is a mobile project space housed in a converted short bus. Part bookshop, part art house, and all literary. Retail sales of gently-used books, locally-designed artist books, and handmade notebooks will support the pending non-profit that was created to organize cultural events such as; play readings, book-art exhibits, poetry readings, and bookmaking workshops for the community at large. http://www.thebluebirdbus.com/

IN THE STORE: Other local artists represented include: Spathose, Baubles, SeaSunSilver, Carol Skylar, CyberCraft Robots, Ruth Philipon, Rudy Lopez, Clayton Schwartz, Casey Zeh, John Costin, Herb Snitzer, Al Page, and Allison Massari.

This event is free to the public. Cash bar and the Cafe will be open and serving dinner.

The galleries will be open for Evenings in Egypt. Thursday night admission price for the Museum is $10.
