Music in the Marly: Jérémy Jouve

jeremy-jouve_150pxMr. Jouve revealed his talent early.  At the age of 10, he performed a Vivaldi concerto with the Orchestre de Chambery.  He went on to win first prize in the Tychy International Guitar Competition (2002) and the International Competition of the Guitar Foundation of America (2003). In high demand as a soloist, Mr. Jouve has played around the world, including at the Radio France Festival in Montpellier and the Mexican Saltillo Guitar Festival.  He has made two CDs of Joaquin Rodrigo’s works for solo guitar and has been featured on the cover of Classical Guitar.  He holds degrees from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse.  This is Mr. Jouve’s first appearance in the area.
