Come experience the art of creating a Florida Cane Rum cake in this in-depth demonstration and tasting event designed by chef Alicia Wolding (The Girl with the Whisk Tattoo). As a rising star in the online food world and one of Florida’s most innovative pastry chefs, Wolding is a notable name in the Tampa Bay restaurant scene, former contestant on Netflix’s dessert reality cooking show, Sugar Rush, and star of MTV’s web video series, Meme Cakes.

During the event, learn how to make batter and the science behind it, as well as the steps to make filling and Swiss meringue buttercream icing. For Wolding’s finale, she will decorate the cake to resemble a colorful work of art. Florida Cane Distillery will provide ingredients for the culinary masterpiece and present a carefully selected cocktail program to complement the event.
