SOLD OUT! Single-Day Fall Camp at the MFA – Grateful for Grasshoppers

From creepy crawly to art, by golly! Discover why artists and scientists alike celebrate the essential role insects play in our environment. See how contemporary artist Jennifer Angus transforms thousands of insects into immersive installations as you explore our special exhibition ‘The Grasshopper and the Ant’ and Other Stories, as told by Jennifer Angus. Then, meet a local entomologist, get up close and personal with live insects, learn why insects maybe the food of the future, and make your own unique creature creations! For kids in 1st through 4th grade. Camps run 9 am to 4 pm.

$40 per day (per child) for Members
$50 for Not-yet-Members

Scholarships for Fall Camps are available through the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance’s Funding Futures program.
