SPF 16 – St. Pete Festival – is upon us! Check out the list of things to do in September in St. Petersburg beginning with the SHINE Mural Festival, which runs from September 1-10. Each week there is a different focus on the arts in downtown St. Petersburg and there is so much to see and do, in addition to the daily activities at the galleries, museums and performing arts venues.
At the Museum of Fine Arts, we are pleased to host the Secret Walls event on Thursday, September 8 from 8 pm to 12 am. This is a free event where you can watch mural artists in action! We are also a part of SHINE Live, to be held Saturday, September 10 from 2-10 pm in the parking lot of Furnish Me Vintage on Central Avenue.
At our MFA Cafe, we have created specialty menus for the first three weeks of September and here are the specials:
Week 1- Garlic & Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with Soy Glazed Stir-Fried Vegetables, Cilantro Sticky Rice and Citrus Ponzu
Week 2- Grilled Steak & Cheese Enchiladas with Black Bean Coulis, Avocado Lime Cream, & Pico di Gallo
Week 3- Basil & Ricotta Stuffed Saffron Ravioli with Blackened Gulf Shrimp and a Champagne Lobster Cream Sauce
Celebrate the arts in St. Petersburg!
