The Museum of Fine Arts has several affiliated support groups that bring together like-minded art lovers, and support the Museum in acquisition and education about different types of art.  The MFA’s support group The Contemporaries will be taking a special tour of the incredible art collections of two major Tampa law firms: Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick and Trenam Law.

Kathy Gibson of ArtHouse3 will describe the collecting processes of Shumaker, which established its Arts Committee in 2008. Their collection includes works by both established and emerging artists, including Bruce Marsh, William Douglas, and Rebecca Sexton Larson.

Photography collector and Trenam Law Senior Member William K. Zewadski will lead a tour of the extensive art collection at his firm, including photographs by Diane Arbus, Walker Evans, and James Van Der Zee.
