Bring the whole family! \nBECOME A MEMBER \n\nABOUT KENN KAUFMAN \nAn avid naturalist from the age of six\, Kenn Kaufman spent his late teens pursuing birds all over North America\, an adventure later chronicled in his cult-classic book Kingbird Highway. \nAfter several years as a professional leader of international birding tours\, he shifted to a career as a writer\, editor\, and illustrator. Most of his energy currently goes into writing books and painting bird portraits. \nHis 14 books include seven titles in his own series\, Kaufman Field Guides\, designed to make the first steps in nature study as easy as possible.
