Weddings\, baby showers\, birthdays\, and dinner parties are all made better with flowers. I truly enjoy designing and creating arrangements that celebrate life’s special moments. \nA lifetime in the luxury home building industry kept me surrounded by beautiful environments and exceptional creative professionals. 5th Avenue Florals and Design was born from those experiences\, with the goal of bringing the beauty of flowers to you. \n\n \nChristopher Gonzalez \nChristopher Gonzalez is the owner of Mona’s Floral Creations\, which has served the Tampa community since 1977. After a 22-year career as an executive at USAA\, Christopher followed his passion for business ownership\, combining his creative eye with floral design. \nNow in his third year as an invited artist for Art in Bloom\, he is excited to think outside the box as he creates his design inspired by his selected artwork. Christopher enjoys life in Tampa—traveling\, food\, and spending time with his Great Dane\, Storm. \n\n \nHannah McCaffree\n\nHannah McCaffree is a high school senior who will attend the University of Florida in the fall of 2026\, where she plans to study finance with a minor in accounting. She participates in Speech & Debate\, Teen Court\, and the St. Pete High School Sailing Team\, thriving in environments that demand both creativity and discipline. SUMMARY:Art in Bloom | Lessons from the Garden Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:“Lessons from the Garden” Luncheon \nPlease join us as we joyfully welcome the return of spring and celebrate the start of all things Art in Bloom with a charming luncheon at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Sip prosecco as you stroll through our curated collection of fabulous opportunity items\, and delight in a spring-inspired pop-up shop presented by Dillard’s International Plaza. \nThe wonderful violinist\, Charity Jones\, will once again enchant us during our welcome reception\, filling the room with music as light and joyful as the season itself. Then\, linger over a delicious spring-infused menu before our incredible speaker\, Holly Heider Chapple\, captivates us with stories from her extraordinary life among flowers—sharing heartfelt lessons and affirmations drawn straight from the garden. \nThursday\, April 16\, 2026\n10:00 am: Doors open for mingling\, opportunity items\, and cocktails\n11:15 am: Luncheon Seating\nSt. Petersburg Yacht Club\n$175 per person \nGET TICKETS \n\nABOUT HOLLY HEIDER CHAPPLE \n \nHolly Heider Chapple began her floristry career 30 years ago as a wedding and event floral designer. Known for her garden-inspired designs\, she has influenced trends in the profession of floristry by exposing designers and the public to unique and hearty blooms. Peers in the industry refer to her sought-after style as “Hollyish”. \nHolly and her late husband Evan purchased Hope Flower Farm in 2015. Hope Farm is now a functioning flower farm and winery. It also serves as an educational facility and bed and breakfast for floral designers. The flowers grown at Hope elevate Holly’s editorial work\, supplement the designs created for clients\, and sweeten the experience of in-person educational offerings. \nBeyond teaching from the farm\, Holly has taught floral design across the country and internationally in Russia\, Australia\, China\, England\, Scotland\, Ireland\, Belgium\, Ecuador\, and Canada. In July 2018\, Holly was invited to do a main-stage presentation at the American Institute of Floral Designers Symposium in Washington\, DC. The event was significant because the traditional organization recognized Holly\, who is not AIFD certified\, for her talent and contributions to the floral industry. \nWorking with designers\, growers\, and suppliers from all over the world keeps Holly at the forefront of the floral design industry and accentuates her education. Holly has her own product line of sustainable floristry tools and containers manufactured by Syndicate Sales. Holly is also the founder of a global community of florists called Chapel Designers\, a collective of wedding and floral event designers that she mentors and educates.
