SUMMARY:Painting in the Park 2025
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the MFA’s 60th Anniversary at this year’s Painting in the Park!  \nPainting in the Park is our annual FREE community celebration of all things art – and this year promises to be our biggest bash yet\, featuring 20 colorful\, creative\, messy\, and marvelous activities inspired by the artworks inside our museum. Activities are designed for toddlers\, teens\, and in-betweens\, and adults are welcome to join in on the fun\, too!  \nParticipants will receive a Painting in the Park Discovery Passport to help guide them to each station and will earn a stamp for their passports as they complete each activity. Complete at least 10 activities to earn the prize of free Family Admission to the MFA!   \nThe first 250 families to pre-register for the event will receive a complimentary MFA Tote Bag – perfect for carrying around your Painting in the Park creations!  \nActivities at this year’s event will include: \n\nEn Plein Air Painting inspired by Claude Monet \n\n\nPastel Portraits inspired by Derrick Adams \n\n\nA Paper Poppy Field inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe \n\n\nAn archaeology dig inspired by the Antioch Mosaics\n\n\nGyotaku Prints inspired by Kimono: The Triumph of Japanese Dress \n\n\nAnd more!\n\nThe fun continues with art-filled activities led by our friends at:   \n\nClay Co-Op \n\n\nNOMADstudio \n\n\nOverspray Art Space \n\n\nPrint St. Pete \n\n\nSt. Pete Ceramics \n\n\nTampa Bay Watch Discovery Center \n\n\nTombolo Books\n\n\nUSF Card\n\n\nSt. Anthony’s Hospital\n\nEnjoy live entertainment\, along with delicious food and treats from:   \n\nSweet Fixation\n\n\nLatin Lunch Box\n\n\nThe Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops\n\n\nRock Fire Pizza\n\nPainting in the Park will also include a Sensory Relief Zone hosted by our friends from USF’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.   \nPainting in The Park 2025\nSaturday\, May 17\, 2025\n11:00 AM–3:00 PM\nFREE for EVERYONE! \nRegister in advance to receive a special MFA Tote Bag!* \nREGISTER FOR PAINTING IN THE PARK \n*Registration for Painting in the Park is not required.
