SUMMARY:Sensory Saturday | Hands-On with Curious Creations Co.
DESCRIPTION:The MFA welcomes families with children with sensory sensitivities to explore the galleries on the 1st Saturday of every month\, from 10 am to 12 pm. During this time\, all rotating audio components will be turned down or muted to ensure a calm environment.  \nPlease join the museum during our Sensory Saturday Hands-On program for activities\,  filled with sensory play. During these quarterly\, hands-on activity days\, visitors are invited to play with non-toxic and sensory-friendly materials to experiment and explore through our senses. You can create works of art to take home too!   \nAll ages are welcome to join; although the program activities are generally geared towards ages 2-10. This month we will collaborate with Curious Creations Co. to focus on the five senses\, connecting various artwork in the MFA Permanent Collection to how we use our senses to appreciate art.\n \nSensory Saturday at the MFA | Hands-On with Curious Creations Co.\nSaturday\, July 5\, 2025\n10:00 AM–12:00 PM\nIf you would like to participate in the hands-on activities\, registration is required at $5 per person. Only register those participating in sensory play. \nREGISTER \n\nAll visitors must also purchase a museum admission ticket to have access to the galleries\,  as the activities will be in our Membership Garden within the museum.
