DESCRIPTION:Join us this summer as we explore the world through art! Every day at the MFA is filled with time exploring the galleries\, learning with MFA staff and other local experts\, creating art\, playing games\, and making new friends and memories.   \nAre you ready to dig up some history? Travel back in time as we learn about the art and science of archaeology. Discover how archaeologists piece together the past from Ancient Greece to Mesoamerica\, and even right here in Tampa Bay! We’ll spend the week exploring our own miniature archeology sites\, puzzling together artifacts\, and creating a time capsule for archaeologists of the future! \nThe Art & Archaeology camp is designed for rising 1st to 5th graders. \nArt & Archaeology Camp\nMonday\, July 14–Friday\, July 18\, 2025\n9:00 AM–4:00 PM\nThe cost for each art camp is $200 for MFA members and $275 for not-yet-members. Scholarships available through the Creative Pinellas Arts Summer Camp Grant have reached capacity for 2025. \nSpace is limited and our camps fill up quickly.
