DESCRIPTION:Homeschool groups and families are invited to join us the second Wednesday of the month as we look at the culture\, history\, math\, and science of art! Every month we will explore a new idea or special exhibition\, and visitors will receive a pre-packaged learning bag with a guide and activity. \n \nThis month’s program will be a hoot! Meet-and-greet raptors from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve\, learn about animal adaptations with Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center\, and go birding throughout the MFA galleries. Featuring games\, watercolor painting\, and more\, join us as we explore Audubon’s Birds of America! \nMuseum docents\, educators\, and other specialists will meet you in the galleries to lead conversations and answer questions. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the fashion show and luncheon begins at 12:00. \nAttendees will enjoy cocktails while previewing and shopping at the Dillard’s pop-up boutique. The fashion show will feature a preview of Dillard’s fabulous Fall line-up for both women and men. DESCRIPTION:Join us the first Saturday and the second Sunday of each month\, November through February\, for a unique experience inspired by the MFA’s special exhibition Audubon’s Birds of America. Enjoy a Docent-led tour of the exhibition\, featuring over 40 of Audubon’s spectacular life-sized bird illustrations\, and an eco-vessel birding experience out on Tampa Bay with the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center – all in one day! Choose from Morning and Evening experiences\, and spend your day immersed in the beauty and brilliance of birds.  \nBook your tickets with the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center at the link below. Tickets purchased for “Birding on the Bay with the MFA” include MFA admission for the day of your eco-vessel excursion.
