In this Halloween-themed evening\, enjoy trick-or-treating\, hands-on activities\, and eerie docent-led tours that uncover the darker side of the MFA’s collection\, with fascinating stories behind select works of art. Wander the galleries after hours\, soak in the mysterious ambiance\, and uncover the hidden tales that make this night a memorable experience. Costumes encouraged—plus a friendly Halloween costume contest! \nEnjoy complimentary soft drinks and dessert\, with beer and wine available for $5 per drink. Between beats from DJ Brian Schanck\, step into our candlelit corner for a little fate-forward fun: on-site astrologer Cosmic Corina will chart your stars\, and tarot reader Jessica Miller will pull the cards to hint at what’s waiting in the wings. Complimentary mini-sessions all night—perfect for a spooky season snapshot of your destiny. \nAdditional Community Partners and Activations! \nTeen Arts Council \nThe MFA’s new Teen Arts Council (TAC) invites you and your friends to join us for some spooky artmaking! SUMMARY:Sensory Saturday | Hands-On with Curious Creations Co.  | In Caravaggio's Light
DESCRIPTION:The MFA welcomes families with children with sensory sensitivities to explore the galleries on the 1st Saturday of every month\, from 10 am to 12 pm. During this time\, all rotating audio components will be turned down or muted to ensure a calm environment.    \nVisitors can also join our Sensory Saturday Hands-On program\, in collaboration with Curious Creations Co.\, for activities filled with sensory play. Explore and experiment with non-toxic\, sensory-friendly materials in the Membership Garden and create your own artwork to take home. All ages are welcome\, though activities are generally geared towards ages 2-10.
