DESCRIPTION:Homeschool groups and families are invited to join the MFA as we explore culture\, history\, math\, and the science of art alongside our newest exhibition\, Ali Banisadr: The Alchemist. Learn about synesthesia and how it influenced Banisadr’s experience and art. His techniques and mediums include abstraction and narrative through painting\, drawing\, and printmaking. Then\, create your own piece of art to take home. \nAll ages are welcome! DESCRIPTION:Painting in the Park is the MFA’s FREE annual community celebration of all things art! This year\, the beloved event returns with more activities\, community partners\, and opportunities for fun than ever before. \nFamilies\, friends\, and art lovers of all ages are invited to spend the day exploring 20+ colorful\, creative\, messy\, and marvelous art activities inspired by works from the museum’s collection. Activities are designed for everyone—from toddlers and teens to adults ready to rediscover their inner artist. \nParticipants will receive a Painting in the Park Discovery Passport to guide them to each station and earn a stamp as they complete each activity.
