Z15 (30 x 30) – A portfolio of 30 photographs given by 30 photographers to celebrate 15 years of ground-breaking exhibitions at the prestigious Zelda Cheatle Gallery in London. Primarily contemporary, the portfolio ranges from the sparse, Zen-inspired Fifteen Birds by Michael Kenna to the lush color of Charlie Meecham’s Scotland forest North Dean to Helen Chadwick’s Madonna collage One Flesh, and Helen Sear’s mystical, manipulated Day for Night. There are two mid-century works, one by photojournalist Grace Robertson capturing Les Halles, Paris in 1948 before the market’s destruction.  A collection of diverse personal expressions, each photograph was selected and donated by the artist.  Only 4 such portfolios are known to exist in the U.S., making this a rare opportunity to experience some of the best of what British photography has to offer.
