THE CONTEMPORARIES ($50) The educational meets the social at The Contemporaries’ events. This lively group of contemporary art enthusiasts enjoys studio visits, curator-led museum tours, lectures, and other activities designed to highlight contemporary art and artists. FRIENDS OF DECORATIVE ARTS (FODA) ($50) The decorative arts—fine furniture, jewelry, ceramics, and glass are an integral part of the MFA’s collection. FODA expands understanding of their variety and beauty. This group meets September–May for programs on acquisitions, exhibitions, lectures, and symposia.
FRIENDS OF PHOTOGRAPHY ($50) The Friends of Photography are dedicated to increasing public awareness of fine art photography through lectures, events, and workshops. Members help promote and augment the Museum’s photography collection, the finest in the Southeast.
MARLY MUSIC SOCIETY ($50) The Marly Music Society concert series includes stunning live performances at the MFA. Each year, Marly Music has a global roster of renowned artists performing in a variety of genres, including classical, chamber, jazz & world music.
COLLECTORS CIRCLE* ($500) For connoisseurs interested in enhancing the Museum’s collection, Collectors Circle is the support group for you. In addition to raising funds for significant acquisitions for the MFA, the group offers its members a variety of exclusive activities, from study trips with MFA senior curators to international and domestic arts destinations to wine receptions at MFA lectures. Dues are fully tax deductible and used solely for Museum art purchases. *To join the Collectors Circle, MFA membership at the Friend level or above is required.
THE MARGARET ACHESON STUART SOCIETY The Stuart Society is the largest support organization of the Museum of Fine Arts. Their mission is to promote the welfare of the Museum; to stimulate public interest and participation in Museum’s activities; to increase the Museum’s general membership; and, to maintain a close acquaintance with the activities of the Museum.
