What can an artwork tell us about the culture from which it comes? Every 6th grader in the Pinellas County School District comes to the Museum of Fine Arts to explore that question. Our docents teach students how to examine art as a historical document, looking closely and thinking critically about the art at the MFA.

No experience in art or history is required. We are looking for curious and enthusiastic people from all backgrounds to help us engage students with art from all around the world and throughout history. Applications are open now!
