Family Programs

Enjoy exploring the Museum as a family through regular monthly programs such as Kidding Around Yoga, Make & Take activities, as well as other annual events.

Major support for the Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs comes in part from the Margaret Acheson Stuart Society; State of Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture; Duke Energy; and the City of St. Petersburg Office of Cultural Affairs.

Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, January through November, 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Kidding Around Yoga utilizes the yoga poses or asanas creatively tucked into partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more. This yoga class is specifically designed for kids (3 and older), but moms, dads, and grandparents are welcome! We all know that yoga is good for you and enhances flexibility, strength, coordination, and concentration. Practicing yoga along with your family and children creates a special bond. Please bring a towel or mat.

$5 per person (admission to the MFACollection Galleries is included*).

Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Enjoy family events with your children, from treasure hunts to arts and crafts. Create your own artwork inspired by works in the permanent collection and special exhibitions. See our online calendar or the Mosaic for more details. This is a great way to introduce your children to art and its fun for you, too! Family-friendly docent tour at 11 am.

Free with Museum admission*.

Support for these programs is provided by the City of St. Petersburg Cultural Arts Grant.
