They aim to master any medium they can get their hands on\, including painting\, drawing\, sewing\, printmaking\, and sculpture. They work at Creative Clay as a teaching artist\, working with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to make and sell art of all mediums. They fell in love with poetry through Community Poetry at Black Crow\, where every week they write about the mundane subjects of life that are deserving of reverence and wonder. Their work also explores the nuances of queer identity\, Greek heritage\, and chronic illness. DESCRIPTION:Families with children with sensory sensitivities are invited to explore the galleries during our Sensory Saturday. During this time\, all rotating audio components will be turned down or muted to ensure a calm environment. \nAlso\, join our Sensory Saturday Hands-On program for activities filled with sensory play\, fine motor skill exploration\, and artmaking. Experiment with non-toxic\, sensory-friendly materials in the Membership Garden to practice using words and counting numbers through art. Activities are generally geared towards ages 2-6. \nSensory Saturdays occur on the first Saturday of every month. \nSat\, Mar 6\, 10 am – 12 pm\nIf you would like to participate in the hands-on activities\, registration is required at $5 per person. Only register those participating in sensory play and artmaking. Adults are free with MFA membership or general admission. \nPlease select a time slot of either 10 am – 11 am or 11 am – 12 pm. \nREGISTER FOR 10:00 AM-11:00 AM \nREGISTER FOR 11:00 AM-12:00 PM \nAll visitors must also purchase a museum admission ticket to have access to the galleries\,  as the activities will be in our Membership Garden within the museum.
