Book Club at the MFA
Join Keep St. Pete Lit, a local organization that supports the literary community, for a book club connecting the visual and literary arts. Each month’s featured book will relate to the MFA’s collection or special exhibitions.
January 11: The Mickett-Stackhouse: Confluence exhibition illustrates the power of combining work and love. Lab Girl, Hope Jahren’s debut memoir, shares her story of work and love that lead to discoveries in scientific work.
February 8: This month we read Fredrik Backman’s A Man Called Ove, and consider how the life (and art) of one person can make a difference in the life of others.
March 8: Join us as we welcome author Janet Benton to Book Club @the MFA. Janet will join us in person for discussion of her debut novel Lilli de Jong.
Second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.
Free with Museum admission, which is only $5 after 5 pm on Thursday.
