Join the MFA and Bluebird Books as we celebrate the installation of the first Open Book Exchange, a little free library that makes it simple to share a passion for reading with the community.

Planted near the north, Beach Drive entrance of the Museum, this custom-built kiosk encourages the community to leave a book or take a book, in a free exchange of literature.

We invite the public to celebrate this inaugural book box at our public Read-In event in front of the Museum.

Bring a blanket and your favorite books, and join us on the lawn! Free books will be available, and visitors may bring their own to donate to the Book Exchange. Cash bar available.
