Join us throughout the year for special days of fun! Each Explore More! Day features a special exhibition, so you can explore a new world of art every time! Select Saturdays, from 11 am to 2 pm.
This month, join us as we explore the exhibition Gio Swaby: Fresh Up
Discover the work of Bahamian artist Gio Swaby, whose art celebrates Blackness and womanhood by highlighting personal style, strength, beauty, individuality, and imperfections. Learn how Swaby creates larger than life textile portraits and try your hand at sewing a portrait of your own! Participants will receive a pre-packaged exploration kit with activities and games to guide them through the exhibition.
Free for members, through Museums for All, or with admission.
