Spray Art Workshop | Hosted by MFA Teens
Join us as we open our new exhibition, Ali Banisadr: The Alchemist, with spray paint and a lesson on the history of graffiti. As a young artist in San Francisco, artist Ali Banisadr became involved with the local graffiti art community early into his creative career. We’re partnering with Overspray Art Space, some local friends who make up artists who are heavily involved in St. Pete’s mural scene.
They’ll show you how to create your own style, then you’ll design and paint a canvas piece to take home. You’ll get stencils and creative prompts to help spark your imagination. Whether you’re brand new to spray paint or a longtime art lover, this is your chance to get inspired and create something cool.
