Call for Volunteers: Painting in the Park
The MFA is now accepting applications for volunteers!
The MFA is looking for volunteers to join us for Painting in the Park on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Painting in the Park is the MFA’s biggest, free community event of the year – and we need your help to make it happen!
Painting in the Park is an outdoor celebration of all things art, featuring colorful, creative, messy, and marvelous activities inspired by the artworks inside our museum.
Volunteer opportunities include supporting children at art project stations, welcoming guests to the event, and offering essential circulating support to volunteers at activity stations. Volunteers who are 14 years or older are invited to volunteer for this event. However, all volunteers under the age of 18 at the time of the event must be accompanied by, and volunteer alongside, a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian volunteering alongside this minor must list their information in addition to completing their own application form.
