World Pinhole Day one-day photography class

The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in St. Petersburg, FL and Boxfotos will team up for the 2012 Worldwide Pinhole Day.

On Sunday, April 29, photographers Rebecca Sexton Larson and Matt Larson along with their Boxfotos Airstream will be at the Museum of Fine Arts. The Larsons will lead a class of students in a one-day pinhole photography class in a celebration of Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!

Participants in the class will receive the following:

• Their own pinhole photography kit including a pinhole camera, instructional guide, photo paper, chemicals, miniature processing trays, and tongs.
• Continental breakfast in the Boxfotos Airstream and introduction to pinhole photography.
• Onsite shooting and processing instruction on the grounds of the MFA and nearby sites.
• An image uploaded to the Worldwide Pinhole Day website,http://www.pinholeday.org/

The fee for the pinhole class is $200 and includes your very own wooden pinhole camera (to keep) and all the supplies to make and process the pictures throughout the day.

Housed in an Airstream trailer, Boxfotos is the mobile art gallery of Rebecca Sexton Larson, Tampa’s 2005 Photo Laureate, and Matt Larson, commercial and fine art photographer.
