The Museum of Fine Arts is always looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to volunteer for a variety of programs.

Become a Volunteer

Much like how the MFA is the Heart of St. Pete, volunteers become the Heart of the MFA!

The Museum of Fine Arts looks for volunteers from all backgrounds. A background in art is not required for most volunteer service positions. Areas of opportunity include docents, family programs, membership, special events/community outreach, museum store, curatorial, visitor services, and administration.

Interested in becoming a volunteer with the MFA? Volunteer applications are accepted at all times. We keep all applicants on our waiting list and will contact applicants with the required skills, interests, and availability as service positions become available

We are actively recruiting docents for our 6th grade tour program

Would you like to become a docent for our 6th grade tour program? Join us for an informational session to find out how you can be involved! Learn more about our Docents for 6th Grade Tours here
