In Their Own Words

We are excited to present an innovative program that allows you to experience art in an entirely new way—through audio narratives that bring artists words to life. This program centers on five paintings that are currently on loan from the Art Bridges Foundation.

You’ll hear recorded readings of poems written by Marsden Hartley, an artist credo by Hughie Lee-Smith, excerpts from a lecture by Lee Krasner discussing her artistic process, and more. Visit the MFA to enjoy this new sensory experience.
