The Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg houses one of the largest comprehensive art collections in Florida.

The MFA has an encyclopedic collection of art from around the globe and across the centuries, with almost 5,000 years of civilization represented in thousands of objects from antiquity to the present. The collection includes works by Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Auguste Rodin, Kehinde Wiley, Jacob Lawrence, and many others, as well as ancient Greek and Roman, Asian, African, Art of the Americas, and Native American art.

The museum’s photographic collection is one of the largest and most significant in the Southeast. The MFA has been repeatedly named the best art museum in the Tampa Bay area.

PARKING 

Paid self-parking is available for MFA members and visitors in the south lot and along Bayshore Drive, based on space availability. Payment can be made via the Parkmobile app or a kiosk. Additional parking garages and surface lots are within walking distance.

Visitors may enter the museum through either the Bayshore Drive or Beach Drive entrance.


PUBLIC TOURS

Docent-led public tours take place every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Docents are also available in the galleries most weekend mornings and weekday afternoons — just check with a member of our Museum Experience team to see if a docent is available during your visit.

Starting August 2025, the MFA also offers tours in Spanish, Russian, German, and Portuguese every third Sunday of the month. Check the schedule and learn more about Language Tour Series here.
