The Museum of Fine Arts houses one of the largest comprehensive art collections in Florida.

The MFA has an encyclopedic collection of art from around the globe and across the centuries, with almost 5,000 years of civilization represented in thousands of objects from antiquity to the present. The collection includes works by Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Auguste Rodin, Kehinde Wiley, Jacob Lawrence, and many others, as well as ancient Greek and Roman, Asian, African, Art of the Americas, and Native American art. The museum’s photographic collection is one of the largest and most significant in the Southeast. The MFA has been repeatedly named the best art museum in the Tampa Bay area.

PARKING 

Self-parking in our south lot and along the building on Bayshore Drive is available for Museum members and visitors based on space availability.

Visitors may enter the museum at either the Bayshore Drive or Beach Drive entrance. Meters take cash, credit cards, or Parkmobile. You can also download the parking app – Parkmobile – for use at any metered space within the City of St. Petersburg and some surface lots and parking garages. There are also multiple parking garages and surface parking lots within walking distance.


PUBLIC tours

Docent-led public tours take place every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Docents are also available in the galleries most weekend mornings and weekday afternoons. Check with a member of our Visitor Services team to see if a docent is available during your visit.

    Café Clementine is an artisanal bakery and casual eatery located inside the Mary Alice McClendon Conservatory. Open Thursday – Sunday, 9 am – 3 pm.

  • Accessibility

    All MFA facilities comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Wheelchairs are available. Special days for families with sensory sensitivities. ASL interpreted tours need at least three weeks advanced notice.
