Art After Dark at the MFA
Join us for Art After Dark on select Thursday evenings throughout the year! Enjoy discounted admission and exclusive programming, including engaging docent-led tours, thought-provoking lectures, film screenings, and more. Explore the galleries after hours, soak in the distinctive ambiance, and experience art in a fresh, captivating way. It’s the perfect night out for everyone to enjoy!
As part of Art After Dark, we’re also hosting Writer’s Workshop | Dream Residue: Ekphrasis in the Real World, a special poetry experience in partnership with poet Ariana Kija Matondo. This hands-on workshop invites participants to explore visual art through journaling, observation, and imagination, drawing inspiration from dreamscapes, memory, and collected ephemera. Open to all ages and experience levels, the workshop takes place Thursday, February 26, from 5:30–7:30 PM—just bring a journal and an open mind.
