Homeschool groups and families are invited to join the MFA as we explore culture, history, math, and the science of art.  Reveal the hidden secrets of the museum’s newest special exhibition, New African Masquerades: Artistic Innovations and Collaborations. Featuring masks and full-body costumes that embody spirits, deities and ancestors, take inspiration from these contemporary artists and create your own accessories to represent the people and things that are important to you.

Instruction and activities are designed for students ages 5–14. Family members and caregivers should be in attendance with students.

Home School Hours occur the second Wednesday of each month.
