Join us in the galleries for an unforgettable evening of original poetry and powerful voices as the MFA presents Teen Poetry Night, a spoken-word performance led by the 2026 MFA Teen Poetry Fellows.
Over the course of four weeks, these high school poets explored the museum’s galleries, drawing inspiration from artworks spanning nearly 5,000 years of global creativity. Guided by MFA educators and community poet mentors, these fellows transformed visual art into original poems that reflect their perspectives, experiences, and imaginations.
This special event brings their work to life through live spoken-word performances in the galleries, celebrating the creativity and talent of young writers in our community.
