This month’s selection, A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan, is an award-winning, genre-bending novel that follows interconnected lives across time, exploring music, memory, and the deeply human pursuit of meaning, redemption, and connection.
Families with children with sensory sensitivities are invited to explore the galleries during our Sensory Saturday. Also, join our Sensory Saturday Hands-On program for activities inspired by Yvette Mayorga’s The Magic Grasshopper, displayed in front of the museum.
With a little imagination and a whole lot of inspiration from Yvette Mayorga’s The Magic Grasshopper, you’ll create your own mini and magical form of transportation using recycled materials.
Step back in time and outside the museum walls to discover the incredible world of antiquity at the Barbara Ponce Public Library. This exciting, interactive workshop brings history to life as you create your own replica of ancient pottery.
